What is the R50 connection fee?
Every time the TradesHub platform confirms a booking on your behalf — through your AI phone agent or the website booking form — a R50 connection fee is logged. At month-end you receive an itemised invoice showing each booking and the total. You only pay for bookings that actually happened through the platform. The connection fee applies to all tiers equally.
Is there a free trial?
There is no free trial. The Basic plan at R199/month is the lowest-risk way to start — your profile goes live, you appear in the marketplace, and you receive WhatsApp lead alerts from day one. When you are ready to add the AI phone agent and 012 booking number, upgrading to Professional takes effect immediately.
What is the difference between Basic and Starter?
Basic (R199/month) is for tradespeople who are just getting started on the platform — ID verification only, listed as Home Services, WhatsApp lead alerts. Starter (R299/month) requires a CIPC business registration and shows your trade category on your profile. Both tiers are without the AI phone agent.
What is the difference between Starter and Professional?
Starter gives you a profile, marketplace listing, and WhatsApp lead alerts — you receive leads and respond to them manually. Professional adds a dedicated 012 Pretoria AI booking number, a 24/7 AI agent that answers calls and creates bookings automatically, calendar automation, and auto review requests after each job.
When am I billed?
Your monthly subscription is debited on the 1st of each month via PayFast. Connection fees are invoiced separately at month-end and collected with the following month's subscription.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes. Change your plan at any time from your dashboard. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing month.
What happens if I miss a payment?
We send a WhatsApp reminder. Your profile remains active for 7 days after a missed payment. After 7 days the profile is suspended until payment is resolved. You can reactivate instantly once payment is confirmed.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. TradesHub is month-to-month with no lock-in. Cancel anytime through your dashboard or by contacting us.
What do I need to join?
A valid South African ID is required for all tiers. Starter and above require a CIPC company or sole trader registration. Professional and Business require trade qualification or registration documents (IOPSA for plumbers, DoEL for electricians etc.). Business tier also requires a current public liability insurance certificate.
